When should you have black spots resprayed?
Black spots were a hot trend for years, but they don't always suit a new interior. In a light ceiling they stand out sharply; in a coloured ceiling they jar. Rather than buying new spots, we can professionally respray your existing ones — often for less than the price of new fittings.
The respray process
- Disassembly and removal of the LED module — we only spray the housing.
- Degreasing and sanding — the black lacquer is roughened up for optimal bonding.
- Primer — a covering base coat so the black substrate doesn't show through.
- Spraying the RAL colour — in a dust-free booth, in your chosen shade.
- Oven curing — for a scratch- and heat-resistant finish.
- Reassembly and testing — every spot is tested before dispatch.
Which black spots can we respray?
Almost any black metal or aluminium recessed spot: trimless, GU10, tiltable, fixed, surface-mounted or recessed. Send us a few photos and the brand/model and we'll confirm whether your spots are suitable. We can't always respray cheap plastic spots — for those we'd recommend replacement.
What does it cost?

Warranty
We offer a 5-year warranty on the spraying work. The original manufacturer's warranty on the LED module or GU10 fitting remains in force.
