Why recessed spots in a RAL colour?
A standard white recessed spot is, in 90% of ceilings, just a little too cool or just a little too white. By spraying your spots in the same RAL colour as your ceiling, wall or curtain track, you get a calm, seamless look in which the eye is drawn to the light — not the fitting. For interior designers and architects this is the standard; for private clients, a surprisingly big upgrade.
Every RAL colour possible
We work with the entire RAL Classic palette (RAL 1000 to RAL 9018) and, on request, RAL Design and NCS. The most requested colours for recessed spots are:
- RAL 9016 Traffic White — crisper than the standard factory white.
- RAL 1013 Oyster White and RAL 9001 Cream — warm white, complementing linen ceilings.
- RAL 7016 Anthracite and RAL 9005 Jet Black — for dark, cinematic spaces.
- RAL 1015 Light Ivory and RAL 1019 — for warm sand and chalk ceilings.
- Champagne, Bronze and Old Bronze — for luxurious, classic interiors.
Which recessed spots can we spray?
Every model in our configurator is available in any RAL colour: round and square trimless spots, GU10 spots, Vico downlights and standard tiltable recessed spots. Have a fitting that isn't listed? In most cases we can also respray your own recessed spots.
Scratch-resistant, heat-resistant and dust-free
Our recessed spots are pre-treated, primed and sprayed in an enclosed booth with a high-grade RAL powder coating. They're then cured in the oven for a scratch-resistant, heat-resistant finish — specifically tested for use on light fittings.
Warranty preserved
We only spray the outside of the housing. The LED module or GU10 fitting stays replaceable and you keep your 5-year warranty on the fitting. Still serviceable a decade from now.
